Below is the long overdue photos taken during Chinese New Year this year.

I spent CNY eve in Beijing together with my housemates and neighbours. On the following day, I took a train to 秦皇岛 (Qin Huang Dao), to join my maternal side of the family for the remaining days of CNY.

Met up with Ah Miao's colleague, Vivian, who's also an intern and comes from Hong Kong.

Solo Trip to 秦皇岛

This is my first time taking the high speed train in China! Excited!

I didn't know this train actually terminates at my birthplace until before boarding! Oops.

The inside. Oh man, it's as good as what you get in Europe! Don't underestimate China anymore!

Grandma's Place

Home cooked food.. I love them!

My cousins and aunts.

On my return trip, I could only get a ticket of the slow train, with no seat. So basically I stood 4.5hrs back to Beijing. This was how crowded the train was. Domestic migration during CNY in China is totally crazy!

Anyway, the boy with brown hair slightly to the right of this photo is quite cute! Cute is as in he looks like one of those Korean pretty boys on TV! I kept on looking at him and he looked back too! Wahahaha!!
